Microsoft's OneDrive adds iPad multitasking and an Office 365 Subscription Option

Microsoft has updated its OneDrive application, which now allows users to purchase an Office 365 subscription for $6.99 per month. In addition to access to the full array of features of Microsoft's Office apps, a subscription also comes with 1TB of OneDrive storage. The app can now also utilize Split View and Slide Over multitasking on iPads running iOS 9 or later.

Here's what you'll get with OneDrive 6.11.6:

  • You can now purchase an Office 365 subscription from the app and enjoy 1 TB of storage. That's enough space for plenty of your favorite cat photos.
  • Take your productivity to new heights. The app now supports split screen multitasking on compatible iOS 9 devices.
  • You can now share links to your OneDrive for Business files with others in your organization.
  • Fixed: App crashing when opening a PDF
  • Fixed: Issue with files not attaching when using the "Email in Outlook" feature
  • Plenty of bug fixes and stability improvements.
